Uberti 1875 from a 1890

I'm thinking about buying a 1890 model from Cimarron in 44-40 because of the correct blued finish ( I like the shorter barrel length anyway) and installing the under-barrel web and case-hardened loading gate, which are both available from VTI and possibly Cimarron. My question is will they fit?? Even thinking about going as far as to weld up and configure the hammer to be correct.

Yes, I have done the reverse to easily have a 7.5" 1890, they used to make repros in that length but were hard to find
If doing it to a brand new gun should be easy with a new vti part
I found some size differences in the alignment pin from a part on a 1992 Era gun vs a 2021 gun
