Got the hard copy receipt from Shilo Arms in mail, only $250, so I guess it is my down payment. OK with that, it will allow me to pay off my Australian # 3 from October.
Last 3 months expensive, acquired 3 rare pieces, 1st model Merwin Army Pocket in 44/40, a S&W Frontier DA in 38/40, & an Australian #3. Only #3 not paid for yet.
Shifting to purge my Reproductions, I have enough originals to shoot, except my original Sharps Carbine, converted to 50/70, cool, but can't hit broad side of barn!

Went back a ways to dig this one up.  Pay up or die letter has been received and check sent, got an email from Lucinda today, Carbine just went on the production floor.  Happy Halloween to me! 

Only change made to original order was adding Pack Hardening last year.

I'm thinking of trying to get a few of us together next spring for some long-range buffalo rifle shooting
