Euroarms 58 remington compatible with Pietta?

I remember reading that Pietta was actually making Euroarms guns at one point.
And Pietta parts would supposedly interchange with Euroarms marked guns.

Thats about all I can remember.
I've got a 58 remington that was sold to me as a Pietta about 6 or 8 months ago, and did not take a close look for a while after I bought it, and discovered it was actually marked euroarms on top of the barrel, with no Pietta maker marks.

By the proof house marks, its a mid 1970s made gun.
So I bought it to make it into a cartridge conversion, but now its an open question whether or not its going to work.
Might have to just sell it off and buy a more recent and definitely marked Pietta 58.

Anyone got any experience with this, or knowledge of compatibility?

It only matters whether a drop in Howell 6 shot cylinder will fit and function.
Thought I'd ask here before I bother the guys at Taylors to see what they say.

I have 2 euroarms ASP (armi San Paulo) revolvers and the cylinder is similar in size to Uberti.  I have a conversion cylinder that I bought for my 58 (u) and it does time properly in the euro's.

The pietta cylinder is longer and will not fit.   I do not know if the old ASM (armi San Marco) cylinders interchange with either one.

Thanks Undertaker.

That is good and useful information!

I have to put a new hand and spring in it as well.
But I have a pietta hand assembly thats been lying around forever, and I can make one from scratch if I have to.

I've been making minor parts like that for over 20 years, so its not really a problem.

Theres one screw thats slightly buggered, but its fixable if I really need to.

I've got leftover screws of various types and makes, so one of these days I'll dig the box out and try stuff to see if anything fits.
