Thanks Joe.  Looking for the date of production on the guns if you have that info.

Yahoody,

Sorry, I've got nothing on the date of manufacture for these Rodeo IIs. The USFA label inside the black box lid is a 2007 copyright version, so later than '07. I am the second or third owner, not their original purchaser.

MY USFA is a Single Action, .44 Special, 4 3/4" all dome blue (no casehardening) Model listed on box is "SA"The serial number is 28657. Grips are black checkered hard rubber. Total cost was $872.81 out the door.

I ordered the gun in 2009, but didn't receive it until August 24, 2011. The gun was ordered through a local gun shop initially as a Rodeo II. I had to pay an additional $100 "special order" charge because .44 Spl. was not a listed caliber - only .45 Colt and .38 Spl were available for Rodeo II's. Then USFA discontinued nickel plating after a long delay, and ran out of .44 barrels. Finally my gun store called me to say that USFA was ready to ship my 5 1/2' CCH and I said "Wrong gun!" Finally Gary Grainger called me and we settled on the all blued 4 3/4" .44 Spl. Single Action, probably in June of 2011. He said he would add a .44-40 cylinder to compensate me for the wait. That didn't happen, and the gun arrived at my LGS 2 months later, in August 2011.

I hope this information is helpful.

It was built by Al Vardal on 10/02/2003.
