I've been trying to find finials like this for percussion cap boxes. This image is from the Regimental Quartermaster, but they don't seem to be trading any more. Do pards have any ideas where I can get these?

Most of the ones you see today are screw-backs rather than rivets, but you can still (sometimes) find the old rivet style.  Look for "sam Browne studs".  Tandy should have them, or a multitude of suppliers on AmaZon and eBay.

(But honestly, the last time I needed one--for a shot pouch--it was quicker to make it than to find a source.  Less trying of my patience. . . .)
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell

I haven't looked for them recently so I did a quick search and found the round tipped ones listed by Abbey England. I do prefer the pointy ones but didn't find any.

HI
Blockade Runner in Tennessee has them.

I've purchased stuff off his hardware page, and it seems well made.

Thanks, pards. 1961MJS - that's good info.
It's the pointy ones with a rivet that I want, and Blockade Runner appears to have them.
