I'm looking to reproduce this belt but I'm having difficulty finding info concerning the width of the belts. I've read so far they are 1 7/8" then 1 3/4" and up to 2" in width. Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps the width of the hardware would determine what width to make it. Also, what era/country/branch may have a bearing on that, too.

Hi
Parsley Brass makes reproductions of the two piece belts from the 1820's up to WW1 / WW2 dress uniform belts.  His sight mentions the belt width in most places.  Look under US belts and he lists a post 1900 two piece belt with a "US" on the buckle.
