Grand Howl

Last night between 2 and 3 am, a wolf pack performed a grand howl across the lake from us. I howled back and got response!

I enjoyed it, but I'm sure the ranchers didn't. Likewise all the hunters. It's been a poor year for moose and deer in this region and the wolves are the problem.

Tine for a wolf cull.

I often see their tracks when I'm x-country skiing on the lake. Some of the tracks are BIG!
