Graveyard Jack

Rawhide sheath on top of a quick & dirty bag I made last year. Mostly antique French and Venetian beads with tin cones and horse hair. Braintan fringe. I may yet bead the mainsesam.

Don't remember where the knife came from. Maybe Dixie Gun Works but it's not my work.

Rawhide sheath for a big Hudson Bay camp knife from ML Knives. Modern brass and Czech beads along with antique French pound beads and padres. Some really old chevrons in there as well. Braintan fringe.

Didn't take any pics of just the bag but here's the inside detail. My first time doing a cloth lining and bound edge. The knife is an Old Hickory I found at the local flea market. All I had to do is stain the handle and add the rawhide wrap.

Good work. You got a nice classic look to the rawhide. Just the right amount of bead work, too.

Fantastic work!

I really like the lining in the possibles bag. Makes it unique. I may have to do something like that.

Great job.

Very nice! Looks something Chuck Burrows would make.

Very nice. I like the look of it.

That's a great use of rawhide. I have a caribou hide I made into rawhide that I've been looking to do something with. This gives me some ideas.
