There's the famous photograph of Billy the Kid. Never noticed before but the revolver is set up for a left handed person.

This is correct. Tintypes resulted in mirror-imaged photographs. That photo has caused no small amount of confusion (and a Paul Newman movie) over the years. Look closely at a good copy and note the loading gate on the 1873 Winchester. That will indicate that the photo is reversed.

It's because Billy was taking a selfie in the mirror.

I just notied the loading port on the rifle, definite reversed photo.
