chiappa .45 colt failure to feed

new chiappa  in .45 colt with feed problems. shot 50 rds originally with no problems, now having feed problems. pull down on lever [with force, no babying] but lever will not go up to feed a round. was able to fire a few rounds through her this past weekend, but in general will not feed easily. extractor works fine when i can get it to load. cleaned gun thoroughly, with no change and will not feed snap caps either. any and all help will be appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are these handloads?  You will need to experiment with OAL until you find the length your Spencer likes.  Snap caps will often not feed in Spencers due to this.
