They look really nice, but I don't think I want to be out playing this game if it's that cold!  I could probably be convinced, though........

My friend, surely you cannot forget the "Arctic Manoeuvres" Muster of 2009, where muskrat hats and such were in great demand! 




Wait ... I have indisputable photographic proof of your participation!  The cold probably affected your memory ...




Of course, this is coming from the "Idiot from the Fozen North" who came totally unprepared for such conditions, and thus had to largely improvise his cold weather gear ...

Jerry:  I would love to, because that would mean the hat is in my possession ... but it is not, I was just posting a link to a post by Jerry Lee elsewhere.  There is a photo of the inside there, if you follow the link.

I do have a very nice beaver fur hat I could post pictures of, if you would like ...  ;)

It actually gets just as hot where I live ... amongst the sagebrush and cactus and rattlesnakes ... but it is a dry heat, as they say. I have always preferred the old autumn timing ... it got cool sometimes - but only cold and snowy that one time, as I recall - and a person can dress for that!
