A while back my old Rossi 1892 broke a firing pin and i had to replace nit. Found that the newer Rossi"s had a slighly different firing pin dimension that couold be modified to fit. So i did fit one and it works but it bothers me that it is not the original design. Is there a source now for the old model firing pin's?

Howdy Treebeard,
if nobody on here has a good answer, Nate Kiowa Jones at https://stevesgunz.com will surely know.

We had a very old Rossi 92 (1970's vintage) that broke a pin and it was replaced with an original winchester 92 firing pin.

Thanks to both Abilene and Greyhawk for their suggestions. Might try the original Win 1892 firing pin first as if it is a no go then will be an extra in case one of my other 92's needs one. The fall back position will be a call to Steve Gunz.
