Just bought a Model 1860 Spencer Carbine!!

Hello all...very happy to be a new member of this group. I am an avid Civil War collector. I used to own a gorgeous Model 1860 Spencer but sold it 15 years ago to help pay for grad school...had much of the original case colors..I loved it. Last week I was finally able to get a Model 1860 again. O have been trying to slowly rebuild my collection again. I am very excited. I was hoping to get some help with the serial number...since you guys may have access to more info than me. Serial number is 44,845. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated.
