Some new Colts

In the last couple of months a few new colts have followed me home.  The first is a reblued but mechanically perfect 1905 with 44-40 and 44spl cylinders.  The other is a 1900 RAC inspected cavalry model. It?s a mostly gray gun with matching parts including the grips, which are very worn.  The timing on this was bad so I sent it back to Dave Lanara to be rebuilt with proper original colt parts (bolt) and trigger/half cock rebuild.   Now it is perfectly timed.  The last one is an 1862 pocket police in nice shape with an original holster.  It is tight as a tick and very well timed.  Looking forward to shooting the cartridge guns.

They all came from separate places.  But, I have been finding some good things lately. You should see the 1886 deluxe I just found. But that is another forum.

Excellent finds for sure.

Roscoe, you obviously shop at better places than I do. My LGS never has finds like that anymore. Of course the types of LGS that would have finds like that all seem to be distant memories now.
