Walt is working on a plan to offer affordable barrel lining for .36 caliber 1851 and 1861 Colts to go with his gated Konverters and ejectors.  Turn around will be fairly quick.   He is working on details now.   That might make me get a pair of .36s and buy some 38 Long Colt brass!

Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

Well, hmm, it might make me want to think about lining the barrel of my Kirst-Strite '61, which is still .36 though it hasn't missed a CAS target yet.  :)

Hmmmmmmmmm

My 61 snubby uses heeled bullets but I also have a 7 " 51 barrel that was lined that fits it  Id be on board to line the 3" I'd think
when planets align...do the deal !

I think it's a Grand Idea.  I have 4 .36 SNUBBIES and R&D type conversion cylinders.  However, I do switch back and fourth between Percussion Cylinders and Conversion Cylinders.

If I did a set of conversions with Gated Recoil Plate, I'd have to give it serious consideration.  But I haven't/won't so that makes it a moot point.

Still a Grand Idea.
