Just got in trade a SAA marked Western Arms Corp Santa Fe NM, imported from Italy,
made by Uberti.
Very nice blue, 7 1/2" bbl, case color frame, one piece grip, all steel. Has a flat top
rear sight and a quarter-round front, almost a target sight. Action was gritty, but the
gun cleaned up better than it looked and is now smooth and locks up very well.
I searched this forum and found the importer is a foreunner of Cimmaron, and the pistol
has a date code AC. The gun has not been used much and evidently not for some time,
but a cleaning, a little oil and some dry firing has it looking and working great.
I had never heard of this importer before and found no information online other than here.
If anyone has any information on these guns, or on Western Arms Corp I'd be very interested
to hear it.
Thanks.
If  it shoots as good as it looks, it's going hunting next year.

I found the answer.
Western Arms Corp was an importer in the 1960's and 1970's, but got sued by Winchester-Western over the company name. It became Allen Firearms in 1984, named after the owner.
In 1987, the company was bought out by Cimarron.
According to the date code, my revolver was made in 1977

I still have an Allen Firearms Old Model Single Action in .45. Bought it new in 1984, did an action job on it right out of the box, and have only had a problem once or twice since then. Trigger/sear spring got weak and put the timing out slightly. I could not commence to tell you how many rounds has been through it. Used it for fast draw briefly. Good gun!
