I am posting some images of my project to recreate the 42 round cardboard box (C & T version) .. I have an original in my collection and getting close on fonts.(Note the label in pic with Spencer is very close) Size and materials are spot on and box is not that difficult to make. Materials are very simple.
check out the files below. Fun to load your Spencer taking em right from the packaging.

Box made with 22 pt light wt chipboard
wrappers and label made with 30 lb. kraft paper
inner sleeves made with 22 pt light wt chipboard
Outer label, sleeve end wrapping and outer wrapper attached with glue.. Use either sodium silicate or good old school paste/glue

Will share box dimensions (cover and body) plus sleeve dimension and label image (to scale) that I have with anyone wanting it.. just e-mail me a personal note and I will send it your way.

Hello, Cannonman:

Nice to see how good those in other threads here have turned out.

For me, the FONT is the problem.  I guess that you are probably working toward a STENCIL.

Per my software wizard friends, photo's can be taken and cleaned-up because most very old fonts
have to be recreated, which can be a big job in itself.
An EXACTO blade can be used to cut out the letters to make a stencil.
Maybe NOW a good photo could be digitized.

Might search for a nearby sign shop or high-end office/trophy shop.
Many can do amazing things on cad stepper motor engraving machines.

I was trying to recreate the patchbox internal paper LABEL for a First Model Maynard.
Images of it are readily available.  Ended up using a decent photo transferred to thin plastic film for durability.

Pay attention to that soft voice in your head.

I am thinking more of the cardboard pack with paper label.. I have a design for the box that comes pretty close to Two Flints figures but the stencil idea is the way I am going to go for that..
