Were original Colt percussion barrels crowned?

Does anybody know if Sam Colt crowned his percussion revolver barrels?

Coffinmaker

Yes I do.  You do however, have to define "Crowned."  The Percussion Guns, by Colt, were cut flat at the muzzle.  After cutting, a tool similar to a Ball Grinder (plumbers tool) was used to de-bur the end of the rifling.  This process left a very faint bevel.

Coffinmaker:  Your description of "a faint bevel" is what I was thinking of as far as a crown.
I was wondering if it might be worth the effort to do this to a couple of new revolvers I have acquired recently.  Think I will shoot 'em some first though and see if they need it.
     Thanks for your input.
