Started this set while the company I was working for had me waiting around in a motel for far too long. It had been several years since I'd done any significant leather projects. He part that took a while was stitching the liner on the back of the belt. The cartridge loops are another thing that I don't exactly look forward to doing again, all 44 of them.  All stitching was saddle stitched with linen. Dye is Fiebings mahogany then went over tooling with Fiebings dark brown antique. Top coat is Montana Pitch Blend leather dressing. I'll end up making a pair of slides for shotgun once I decide if I'm going to run my 20g or get another 10 or 12.

Hello Jrice,  Very good looking leather work.  I like everything about that gun rig.  Well done!

My sentiments exactly. Many thanks for sharing this with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Good work. That's a fine rig. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you guys I really enjoy doing this kind of work, just wish my regular job didn't get in the way of doing it.

Santee I understand you're somewhere around Tucson. I'm just up the road in Apach Junction. I'd be interested in any info about events going on in the area.
