I've seen a lot of Rodeos in 4 3/4" and 5.5".   Both in .45 Colt and 38 Special.  Very few of any caliber in a 7.5" Rodeo.  Never seen a 7.5" gun in any caliber in the Rodeo II model.   I would guess I have seen 2, may be 3, 7.5" Rodeo Is in all the time I have been playing with and buying USFA guns.

Was lucky enough to pick a used one up today that I'll eventually use as a every day shooter.  It is chambered in .45 Colt.

Anyone else have a 7.5" Rodeo and if so what caliber?

I'll post a few pictures once the new gun arrives.

No stag on this one.  Black rubber.
I have a few pairs of grips I'll try on this one.  Unsure what I'll do with the finish yet or what grips.  Won't be matte blue or rubber grips for long though  ;D

I've had some real shooters in the 7.5" USFA guns.  Sadly never been able to keep them around.  Hopefully this one will change that and  it'll burn a bunch of powder.

Got  link to the one on GB?

Not anymore, deleted it this morning after it sold for $1200. It had the original black stocks, but had other grips that looked like stags, but were actually carved eagles on them.

Rodeo Romeo

A couple years ago a pair of Rodeo II 7.5" .38 Spec listed on I don't recall now GB, GI, or GA.

Plastic grips King.   Wish they were stag :)  But your price was right.   Anyway picked this one up the other day.   Clean'er up real good, sorted the timing and did a trigger job.  Then Took it out for the initial range session last night.  This was @ 20 yards leaning against a bench using full power  hand loads of Unique and a 255gr SWC.  USFA guns generally do shoot :)

Gun seemed worth the effort so I then added some American Black Walnut.  I like the Miroku Winchester and USFA combo.

American Black Walnut and a 7.5" Rodeo.

Capt. John Fitzgerald

Yahoody,
It's all a matter of taste, but I like those walnut grips much better.

Agreed Capt.   ;D  Certainly looks more business like in walnut.   For me...much as I have tried, plastic is hard to love :o

This one now has one piece elk horn on it for grips.  Today I ran a hundred plus of 45acp ammo through it and was very impressed with the results as a target gun.
