Just to show off my ignorance, is this a reproduction of an actual military coat, or just a movie prop?

There were several patterns of mackinaw used by the US military from 1900-1950's. The one Lee Marvin is Westin I this movie is very reminiscent of those used prior to WW1 and during.

I want one of his 1911/New Service revolver belt rigs. Actually multiple belts, pants and holsters.

Actually, if I recall correctly, it was a M1860 Sabre. Ask him about it sometime when you have time for the rest of the story.
