Guns Garrett

Back by popular demand, direct from the gently rolling hills of Southeast Kansas, the return of the one and only Guns Garrett!!!

While previously seen as a Mississippi Marine Brigade Lieutenant, a Spanish American War Marine First Sergeant, and an Oranje Vriestaat Boer, he will reprise his role at the 2018 Grand Muster as Troop Sergeant-Major James Lunney, 1St (King's) Dragoon Guards, British Army, who gave his life for Queen and Country against the Boer at Laing's Nek, Natal, 28 January 1881.

He will be accompanied by his lovely wife (of 38 3/4 years) Megan O'Ruckus, AKA "Miss Penny", who will observe the activities of the woolen-clad troops in their various tasks and activities, while reposing in whatever shade is available, and drinking cool refreshments, all the while making pithy observations and otherwise obnoxious sarcastic comments.  Sure to be a good time for all, 'tis true...

I've been away too long, and it appears my situation will allow me to attend the Muster in Sargent at last.  I look forward to seeing all my old comrades - even RCJ - and look forward to meeting new ones.  See y'all in Sargent.

Great News, Indeed!   ;D

We will gladly put up with Guns Garrett for the pleasure of again seeing Miss Penny ...  ;)

And if I'm not mistaken; following Guns and Megan's reservations at the Comstock Lodge, there should only be one room left in the establishment (the bunk room).

Also, those of you who are long time participants of the Grand Musters at Sargent, you may want to get your registrations in soon. With as many 1st timers as are registered, a "sold out" Muster is looking likely.
