Just received my new Owsiak bullet mould last week, fired up the lead pot and cast some bullets. Bullets seam to seat well in my cut off 50-70 cases but will not feed in my original Spencer. I made up 3 dummy rounds with the new bullets and using cases cut to 1.010 they are too short. All of my cases were trimmed for the old Rapine bullets which feed well and measured around 1.57 OAL. The Owsiaks measure 1.54 OAL and are too short. Now to either try to live with the Rapine and figure out how to crimp or buy new 50-70 cases and cut to longer length to help feed issues. Hard lessons....and $$$ possibly wasted. Nothing wrong with the Owsiak bullets, just my lack of planning on a different seating depth.

I have an owsiak mold but in .546. I also have the rapine. I have to cut the brass a little longer for the owsiak mold.
