Is this Nickel Rodeo factory?

Anybody ever seen a shiny factory nickeled Rodeo before? Did they send out any special ordered Rodeos with a shiny finish? The only Nickel Rodeos I have ever seen were the satin finished ones.

Lou, I wondered about that one the first time I saw it as well. I'm curious what comments others who know more than me will have on this one.

I noticed the serial number looks like HR057, perhaps it stands for Horton Rodeo? As in Lew Horton Distributing. Perhaps they ordered a special run of Rodeo's in the white and did the final finish.

USFA would polish the frame, backstop, and trigger guard as one unit.  To me, by looking at the rolled edges of the frame, BS, and TG, this gun was polished and nickeled after it left the factory.

I have a set of Rodeo IIs that's has a much shinier finish than other Rodeo IIs I have owned. My guess that the frame were polished a bit more before they were nickeled. They are not mirror bright but they are brighter than the satin brushed now ckel

Both the Rodeos and the Rodeo IIs were glass beaded after a preliminary polish.    The Rodeos then went into the blue tank and the IIs into the nickel tank.
