I am again seeking information about the Remington New Model Army manufactured by Witloe Precision Inc. of Collingdale, Pennsylvania. They manufactured two type revolvers from 1960 to around 1963. They were the Grant Model with a steel frame and the Lee Model with a bronze frame(not brass).

I wish to purchase these as well.

There are also 2nd Generation Witloe's produced by R.T. lane. There start with serial number 700. These were produced as competitive shooters and will probably have target sights. They will be marked Witloe on top of the barrel.

I maintain a register for these revolver so I am interested in finding as many of these as possible.

I saw a Witloe on gunbroker about a year ago. It was a brass frame, with "Lee .44" in gold on the left side flat and "WITLOE PRECISION, INC./COLLINGDALE, PENNA. U.S.A." in gold on the top flat. From the pictures it looked like it had a 3 digit number on the left side of the barrel but the picture wasn't clear enough to read the number. It did not have target sights.
