Hi Guys,

I'm seriously thinking of either selling this Spencer carbine or donating it to a credible museum.  It sits in my safe and that really isn't doing anyone any good.  I bought a reproduction to reenact with, but I have put a centerfire upper block in it.  As it turned out, the block that was in it was a centerfire block, but appears to be pretty old.  So the question is, does anyone know of a museum, preferably in Indiana given it's history, that has a Civil War exhibit that would benefit by having a Spencer Carbine?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

WOW
An exact match for your Spencer Carbine, according to my SRS BOOK.  Your Spencer Carbine serial # 30337 was issued to a member of Company G, 6th Indiana Volunteer Cavalry on July 13, 1864.  Shocked Shocked Shocked
