1876 extractors???

 What kind of metal,,is used to make extractors??,,, heaaa,,I know but I still want to try. I have an original 76 bolt ( w/ screw in plug for FP),,,no the one's from a chappie won't work,,,to short & narrow.

Thank you BRS,,,. If anyone else has one to sell ,,,I'm IN,,. Has anyone ever bought "BROWNELL"S # 149 kit..suppose to  have different pcs. of 1075 anneled spring steel??

 Thanks BRS,,yes sir ,i'v bought from "BOB" before,,i just wan't t'a make one,,,so I have,,,@ $10.00 hr. I bearly have $ 200.00 in mine (lol-lol-). Am calling "BOB" tomorrow ,,just to be sure ( know what I mean). I put about 10 rds. ( dummie rds.) thru my 40/60 w/ new extractor,,worked fine,,for how long,(,??? ) will know when I fire some live rds. thru it.
