Thanks for that, Nativeshooter. Interesting.

That is our own Dave Carrico , he did this piece about 3 years ago or , saw it when it aired....

Dave's great guy, and I have several of his holsters , and used his fine Cavalry horse tack.

Thank you for posting this. I sure wish I had one of those Clicker Presses. This is an efficient and excellent way to die-cut leather shapes. I used Clicker Presses to cut sheet plastic as far back as the early 1970's. It is pretty hard to justify one for the small volume I do.

Dave does outstanding work. Great video, for sure.

Johnny, it is possible to make one from a hydraulic shop press with frame.  With a bit of thought it can be an improvement over hand cutting BUT will never equal the knife for custom holster making.  I think there are some how to versions of clicker presses on you-tube.

Thanks for the input Bob. I'll have to look into that.

I've thought about a press too but the problem is not so much the press but the dies. Unless you do a lot of one pattern that is a lot of work and expense that would take a long time to pay off.

Glad you guys liked the show. It was an honor to do that show, I've always enjoyed it. Sorry, I've been away from here too long. Cancer free over 5 years now. Thanks everyone!

Good to hear, David.  I just may watch "The Missing" over the weekend in honor of the good news.  You steal the whole movie away from those other so-called "actors".  You should have gotten top-billing in my estimation ;D.
