Not sure if my subject line is very helpful! But can someone tell me the name for the brass studs used to keep holster flaps on military style holsters is called? And perhaps where to get them? Tandy I suppose?

Wanting to make one of these:

Doesn't look too complicated, I don't see any stitching even. Probably held together by the 2 rivets in each pouch, but I'll probably glue the pouches before riveting.

Collar studs. You can get them numerous places. Here's one source https://www.buckleguy.com/feet-and-studs/ .

Here's how to set them

There are also screw back ones but they may tend to get loose and if you can't get to the head of the screw, you're, well, screwed.  ;D

We'd like to see your bandolier when it's done. Post pics if you can. Heck, post pics along the way if you feel like it. We're photo junkies here.

Tandy has the actual two-piece rivet and stud, as well as the setting tool.

Hi

Check on Springfield Leather's Website out of Springfield Missouri.  Send them a picture of the bandolier and ask.  They're good to work with.  There are several types of studs like that pictured, but many are more pointed.  And yes Blue Locktite is your friend.
