skinner pep sight's???

Anyone use "SKINNER"pep sight's on our lever gun's?? I'm not really wanting to use a tang mt. unit,,i have a chappie,76,,stock sight's "SUCK" for my eyes.

I have good news.  Ah .. but I also have bad news.  First the good.  Skinner sights are superb.  Now the bad.  Skinner peep sights are NOT SASS legal barrel or receiver mounted.  If, on the other hand, your talking about a hunting rifle, go for it.  For CAS .... not so much.

OK ....

I put a Skinner sight on my 1873 lever gun in 45 LC and shot my traditional black powder loads. I was pinging the gong at 200 yards shooting from a supported position. (elbow on the bench). Very satisfying !

Now that not being CASS legal is a bummer ......

I will be putting one on my sharps carbine however .... Texas Hog Gun !

I have also noticed, when hunting "peeps" it's real hard to tell when you hit em.  They just sorta 'splode   :o   ;D
