I'm looking for .38 Spl. loads using TG with 130 and 158 gr LFNRPs.

I will be using them in IDPA rom my S&W 2-1/2" M19 and M66 snubbies. I'm not looking for a defensive load for CCW.

3.2 Gr for the 125/130

Although >>> I wouldn't shoot anyone else's load data.  Seen too many ugly things happen.

Prudent!

Tite Group is a powder where the effect of minimally increased charges makes for exponential results.

No worse than Bulls Eye in that regard. I know of a 9mm Commander that suffered the loss of it's grips resulting from a double charge of BE. I found the Colt grip medallion from one grip panel and the floor plate of the magazine and presented them to the owner.

He showed me his damaged hand.

While 3.2 might work, it can be too low to reseat primers during firing.  So, stoppages may result.  3.4 seems to consistently overcome the backed out primer problem.  YMMV

That has not been my experience. Why would that be an issue when 2.7 grs of Bulls Eye/148 SWC has been a standard .38 Spl. load for ever? BE and TG have similar burning rates and are not location sensitive in the casing.

I have been shooting 3.2 TG with both 130 and 158 gr bullets using Federal primers. I propped the charge to 3.0 with the 158 LRNPs and performance was fine in my S&W M66 2-1/2".
