Boy, it sure didn't last long. I didn't think it would since it was a very fair and reasonable price. I would have liked to have bought it myself but just have other commitments right now. Anyway it is gone now so it is a mute point. Sure hope one of you guys was able to get it.

Nice. What was the price? All it says now is "sold".

LonesomePigeon

A couple months ago there was a 100% USA Nettleton on the Colt forum that went for $1,300. It only took about 30 minutes to sell if I recall.

This USFA Doug Turnbull is in like new condition and appears unfired.  Blue finish is near perfect with just
a very light turn line on the cylinder.  The case colors are vivid with no distractions. These DT USFA

I have a USFA I'd  like to sell. Maybe that's the place to list it.  I didn't  have  much  luck  with  our own  classifieds.

LonesomePigeon

What model is it and when was it posted here? I just bought my first USFA off gunbroker. I love it and want more but it was very costly. I expect it will be a good long while before I can afford another.

It is a 5 1/2" .45, dome blue, Turnbull cased frame and hammer.  Black powder frame, bullseye ejector rod head, factory special order one-piece walnut grips.  Was new in box, until I fired about 35 rounds through it.  Original box and sleeve, papers, sock and small size 1990 catalog.  I listed this several years ago, when I thought I might want to try to use it for trade on the same configuration gun in either .38-40 or .44-40.  Ended up keeping this one and buying the other two.
