For all of you who were at the 2016 Muster and were asking...Those little black hollow balls given away by Hornady for the raffle are bolt end covers. They supposedly enhance your purchase on the bolt for a rapid second shot just before your trophy drops behind that hill 200 yds away. You remember, that hill too far away for you to get to because you are still out of shape like the rest of us old timers. I found them on another site which explained their use. SO, that takes care of that question that was burning it's way through your mind for the past couple of months.
Have a fun Fall.

 ::) That's just what I thought ;)

I guess I might have to put one on my Weatherby, but I think I'll skip putting one on the Krag.

As concern for this mystery has existed at the highest levels of the GAF command structure, the Chaplain is to be commended for his investigatory diligence.  A round of the good stuff is to be immediately issued to all parties involved.  (Now where did I put the medicinal locker key . . .)
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Guess that I'll take mine off the Jeep antena!

Drydock,  The "key" is in my vest pocket hanging on a chair in my quarters. FYI, the door to said quarters is locked and guarded by my trusty Dachshund, Spike.
