Nice looking rig Bob.  UHHHH, not quite sure how to tell you this, hand sewing is what ya gotta do to pay for a machine!  Another great machine that gives an extremely good time return for the investment is any sort of clicker, with dies.  I know most of you guys are serious artists on the custom side of leather work and do to much unique, one of a kind, projects but it can not be matched for production work.  HF had their 20ton floor press on sale last month and I purchased  one  just for the leather shop, what I used with the sight press but it would serves as a good entry level machine for clicker dies, with a bit of tweaking.

Boothill Bob

Yea Bob, I know that, but my time will go to studies for now, will get back to school :o
Who make dies for a clicker ???

Everbody, Weaver has a shop, as does Tippmann but I have been using Texas Dies for about a year or so.  Im sure that there are better grades for true high production shop use but Tippmann and Texas Dies are really good enough for most small shop needs and I'll bet there are hundreds more small die making shops like them.

Slowhand, I assume that rig design would be legal for "Cowboy Fast Draw Association" as well.  Hoping to design something about like that to use in CFDA matches beginning in March.

Good luck with the studies and here is hoping that new machine finds its way into your workshop soon.

Nice rig. I like how you used the basket stamp on the belt.
My monikor comes from my family's former ranch Santa Cruz Farms located outside Eloy, Arizona. The Santa Cruz river runs through the land.

Nice rig Bob, great job on the tooling.

That is a lot of hand stitching on a rig, did you order a Cobra 4?

Thanx all.
Cliff. I havent order it yet, dont have that money for now. But it will be mine as soon I've got the money. Its a Fair Price on it, to bad the shipping is $780, then its custom fee and taxes  :-X
I think he can send it as a "gift", then I dont have to pay fee and tax, if the custom buys it, expensive gift  :-\

Nice rig!  You will love your Cobra 4.

Cliff Fendley

That's a shame on the expense getting it too you. :(

You'll like the Cobra once you ever get it. I bought a Cobra 4 about a year ago and really like it. Steve has first rate service, this was my first sewing machine so I had a few questions and he really helped me out.
