Nope, but thanks for reminding me why I boxed that piece up before getting swept up with the rest of life.

It too has a wiggly arbor (not surprising), now that I think about it. Last I remember I was self-educating on fixes for that.

I too had a Centaure problem child. One of the many issues it had was a loose arbor. I boxed it up and sent it to Gary Barnes AKA HoofHearted. It came back a Well Behaved child and after hundreds of rounds  I could not be happier!  Money well Spent!

Nice work, HH.
Seems to be an RNMA 3rd Variation 3rd subvariation w/o the notch on the butt.
By its looks made between march 1968 and late 1969/early 1970.
Would you please, let me have the serial number for the Centaure data bank of www.1960nma.org?
You may want to do that as a PM.
Thanks,
Long Johns

Oh gosh......
Customers gun, long gone! But I do believe the info was given to you back then.

Oh and I have fitted Pietta cylinders to Centaurs in order to make them shooters. I believe I had one in the shop that had a large (15 thou or so) cylinder gap and I fitted and reblued a Pietta to the gun.
