I have three Piettas that I use for CAS that I bought from Marstar ten years ago.  I use them more than my Ruger Vaqueros.  Nice guns, no problems.

He's spinning the cylinder with his finger while cocking the hammer. Cap gun is what the fellows call cap and ball revolvers aka 1851, 1858, and the like.

Many of us grew up with automatic pistols. This is especially true of those younger than the baby boomers.  Is there a tutorial video on the proper cycling of a SAA?

I love my black powder frame Pietta SAA-- brand new it was properly timed which surprised me after all the horror stories I have heard.

It's not complex enough to warrant a video. Just pull the hammer back to half cock open the gate and put one cartridge in then turn the cylinder past one chamber and load the third hole. Then turn the cylinder to load the next three and close the gate pull the hammer to full cock and lower it to fully down. You can practice with empty cases and as long as you don't fiddle around you'll easily do it right in the dark on horse back at a lope. Any time the hammer is raised make a habit of making the full cycle to get it to the full down position. Turning the cylinder with your fingers is only done to load, unload, or inspecting the pistol. Others may want to polish these words but I think that covers it.

Pretty much.  Just NEVER EVER drop the hammer from Half Cock then turn the cylinder into lock.  ALWAYS ALWAYS draw the hammer to FULL COCK, then lower the hammer.
