hi ol pete here...as a lover of old-time banjo music for 50 yrs and a former old-time music player in younger days, i thoroughly appreciated that  shootist article  by  jake book.  lo and behols i was with his dad dave book at a trade fair this weekend, and dave had copies of jakes 2 latest c/d's of really well done old-time  music, which has a substantial  amount of banjo tunes and vocals featuring old-time banjo accompiament!    great stuff!  highly recommended!
