A new holster two loops "Buffalo" for a REM 1858
one belt " Ranger's " and double cylinder
in finish " antic leather " (natural leather " live oak ")
with conchos and nails navajo
completely lined and lined hand

all the parts in preparation, after their exit of the baths of soaking
(our dyes did not pass in the brush, but leathers are plunged)
several tints are applied to obtain this coloring

installation and details of the stamping  around conchos and nails navajo

detail of the lining, where no nail appears

border stamping hand

face defers of the holster
contrary in traditional holsters of type " Mexican loops ", we see that it is the sewn, pulled down leg, that will serve of " back flap "
this case is a mixture of Slim Jim and Mexican loops

the belt "  RANGER's " with billet of type " Purdy ", with the  border stamping hand
with nickel buckle " clipped corner "
detail of the passer-by of lined belt and with a nail navajo

put in oil of leathers

the holster ended with finish in the " tan coat "

details of the position and the release of gun

the double cylinder  removable , the fund of which is closed, just leaving the passage of a finger to disengage the cylinder
safety(security) gone up with button
the same screw finish, border, nails and concho

The rig put on a saddle Circle Y in flower

This Rig is truly a work of art! A genuine pleasure to look at!

I wouldn't ask you how many hours this one took you make but I shudder to think how many hours it would take me.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

That's a fine rig. I shot a Remington with extra cylinders at a two-day match. It's a whole lot of fun. Nice work.

Hi,

Thanks to you !

I sew the belt loop to flat , double stitch , which after will have then returned as a classic belt loop of Slim Jim

Except that there, the holster  will pass in the loops of the back flap
