I have been reloading my 45 ACP with Winchester Autocomp and Tightgroup for the the last year and saving my Trail Boss for my 38 spc. I use in cowboy action. Recently I was able to pick up 10 lbs of Trail Boss and decided to try it in my 45 ACP reloads for wild bunch matches.
I loaded 20 + rounds and ran them through my chronograph and found that in my 1911, I was clocking the bullets at an average of 889.64 fps.
When shooting the same round through my Uberti 1873 lever action with a 24 inch barrel, the same bullet clocked in at 1094.45 fps.  Both were in the legal range for power factors set by SASS. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy and recoil or lack thereof and think I will be using this powder for my reloads for as long as I can stay supplied with Trail Boss. Happy & safe shooting,  W. L.                      ;D
