I have a new Ped '74 coming and have on hand a new MVA mid-range tang sight.  The hole spacings are 2.260" on the sight base.

Somebody with a Ped '74 - please measure the spacing of the tang holes, so I can order a new base if necessary.

I was going to say "pick the 2.26 option," but you might need to wait for the rifle to arrive as there are apparently several spacing options for the "Pedersoli Sharps".

I'll go measure mine tonight but be aware that there might be a difference

I have two tang sights from MVA.  I just old them what guns they had to fit, and left it up to them to provide the correct base.  Both fit my rifles perfectly.

I bought the MVA mid-range to put on my Shiloh 50-70 carbine, but it shoots so well with the ladder sight, I didn't bother.
It has the 2-2.260" spacing.

I want order an MVA front sight, so it won't upset me if I have to order another sight base as well.
