Hey Pards;
After some practice making sheaths for knives & hatchets, I'd like to try making my dbl CAS type rig.  Tandy has Black Friday sale tomorrow & the 1/2 hides are reasonably priced.

I figure using 5/6 wgt veg tanned, for 2 ply rig is a good start.  What say you?

I plan using the 'spine' section for 2.5" gun belt [ranger style] + pig skin lining.  This OK?

Thanks.  Gotta go deliver a 23# bird.  Enjoy your Turkey Day!

Thanks for response Johnny D.;

Attended my 1st Blk Fri. sale - yahoo.  I bought 1/2 hide of 5/6 & dbl. shoulder of 8/9 & a qt. of Barge cement.  Now playing with template construction.  It's really exercising my 3D brain cells.
