Howdy all,

Real quick question. Does the RCBS Cowboy expanding die for .44-40 expand the case for .429 bullets, or .427? Looking to get a .44-40 rifle soon-ish (next few months) and figured I could start grabbing the necessary reloading materials.

Thanks kindly,
Jake

The expander is actually stamped "428", and I can testify
that it accomodates .429/.430-sized bullets  just fine.
(Both my Uberti `73Win & Smokewagon SAA love it)

Fantastic, thank you for the quick response. I got a set of RCBS Cowboy dies for reloading .45 Schofield and they have me hooked. Far better than my Lee dies, in my (very limited) experience.
