I really like my precision method of measuring.   

Fine measuring tools are expensive, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do

I look inna chamber.  If there is room for da ball ... yer gold ... ram it home. 

No room fer da Ball?  Pour some puder out.  Repeat step one.   

Trim a case with the primer hole plugged wid Epoxy to throw the amount of powder that leaves room fer da Ball.  Glue a stick onit.

When done, the actual, precise, absolute weight of the propellant in "grains" is immaterial.  The volume only applies until you get the chamber full with room for the projectile left over.  After that, doesn't matter your precision scoop is your friend
