Well, Scott at Camano Ridge Custom Leather received my belt September 22 and had it repaired and back on my doorstep by today. Yep...less than one week including shipping over the weekend!
I cannot say enough about this fine gentleman. I realize that the measure of this mans passion for his work lies not only in creating fine work from scratch, but "breathing new life" into well used leather, as he put it. Rather than just stitch the problem areas, Scott removed all the old stitching and re-stitched the entire belt, never missing a single stitch hole.
What a shame that the original post was locked because I wanted it to become an opportunity to show what a master can do with a tattered, seemingly worn out piece of leather. No problem though, I'll just post "before" and "after" pictures, along with some others.

Not a stitch out of place and he even took the time to treat the leather with conditioner!

   Thanks Scott!

I would say he did an outstanding job for you. Now go out and get some saddle time with it.

Great pictures. Are the ivory grips original?

A beautiful example of the Lazarus Effect. You can wear this rig anywhere great pistol fun is being conducted.
