1876 sights

Gentlemen,
I am considering replacing the post and buckhorn sights on my newly acquired Uberti 1876 with globe and ladder or globe and tang sights.  Good idea /bad idea?  If good, what has worked and where to purchase?  Approx $ ?

I put a Lyman 17a and a Marbles tang sight on a 94 Win, this gives you a longer sight picture,
it's similar to what I have on my Sharps which I really like. Both are available from Buffalo Arms.
