Darn....I'm always looking for bullet options on BP.  I store my stuff in the regular Folger's cans. 
BTW, they were some good looking bullets!

Lubed with suitable BP lube I'm relatively sure they'll shoot well (his mold has nice big greases grooves). Besides, I don't think you can make a .50-70 NOT shoot well.

My 1863 Sharps Carbine 50-70 seems to shoot quite well.  Perhaps it is your loads that are the problem.
