A friend asked if I could copy an old holster he had and make an opposite hand one to complete a set. It is for an 1851 .36 revolver. The old holster had Mexican coin conchos and 4 border tools that were used, two of which I could not find. I made a rubbing of each and designed them on my 3D CAD system at work and then used a 3D printer to make them. They held up fine and made nice impressions in the cased leather. I also reconditioned his old one and applied some Tan-Koat after the neatsfoot oil and leather cream. Using my 1851 to wet mold the new one, he now has a matched set. I tried to make the new look old, didn't quite make it but it's pretty good and he was pleased. Thanks for looking, Tom

Looks good, Tom. The new one has the same feel as the old one, just not as worn looking. Nice match-up.
