For those at the 2009 Muster at Ft Hartsuff and the 2010 one at Jerry's place, my good friend and helper Salt Crick Rick is in need of some prayers.   He is in long term care aka hospice (he told me today when I got a hold of him that hospice care does not always mean you are going to die right away)   at the Grand Island Nebraska VA hospital.  It's cancer, but he said he's through the worst part.

I will be going out in a couple weeks to see him, I need to get the mailing address and such, he didn't really know, but he'd sure like cards I'm sure.   He's hoping to make another muster sometime even if for just a day or so, but he said he's not going to be a good clean-up guy no more, but I told him we didn't care.

Trailrider

Prayers up, for Rick! Modern medicine has gotten a lot of folks over the hump who wouldn't have had a chance "back in the day"!
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Your obedient servant,
Trailrider,
