You need to 'Tell William' in what area. Precleaning, cartridge, load selection, first shots. As Lefty Dude posted-- ??? ??? ???            Wonder too, 1860 JW Navy? Never heard of that Model, 1860's were known as Army Models. 1851's and 1861's were the Navy's. Exception would be Pietta's 1851 Navy which is calibered both in 36 and 44. Some call the 44 version a Army model, which never existed. My very first cap an ball back in '72 was a EMF which had a Navy size grip, but had a rebated 1860 style frame and cylinder. It had '44 Caliber Army Model' stamped on the barrel. Being new to cap and balls, I thought it was a legitimate model. I could be all wet, your model might be something I've never seen/read about. Recall having seen some advert referring to a Josey Wales model, but believe it wasn't a 1860 Model. I could be all 'sooted and residued up", but this is according to the best of what I know and many have said I don't know 'nuttin' before!!!! ;D
Edit: Did some checking, I see Traditions has a 1851 Navy Model (36 caliber) they call the Josey Wales model.

Learn as much as you can about the desired pistol, loading, shooting and cleaning.  Some discussion might help a little towards deciding on the direction in which to seek the right choice for you???   There will be many things that need doing to make the gun itself a dependable and enjoyable part of the equation but you will only know those answers after shooting it some.  I guess the best place of all to start would be making a knowledgeable friend or two!
