Ok, Real quick ....

Jayhawker .... WOW ... I love that picture. I plan on having one of me done up like that when I get all settled in Texas. I always wanted one like that. Where was that taken?

Also sorry for the tardy reply....The picture was taken in the Smoky Hill River Valley in Kansas at Maxwell Wildlife Refuge.  I work there and we have a herd of about 300 bison. It's made for some amazing photo opportunities...

These are great !!! I am doing a road trip this summer to Ft. Griffith .... I am hoping to get some inspiration. I have a daughter who wants to be a photragopher and she wants to do a buffalo hunt re-inactment scene ...

I really like this concept of giving away, books .... I think I will have to go through the library and see what I can find to do this again...

I have a digital copy of "A Study of Colt Conversions and Other Percussion Revolvers" but not sure if Kosher. The book is out of print and super pricey. I can't recall where I got the copy (library maybe) but would be worth looking into .... I would want to get the authors permission.
